I'm getting the interior of my home painted, what do I need to do?
The short answer is that we need as much access as possible—about 1.5 m clear around walls. Paintings and wall art must be taken down, fragile items removed from display cabinets, and clothing/shoes cleared from cupboards. At HRK Pro Painting, we prioritise your convenience during our Brisbane interior painting services.
I have concerns about the smell and fumes. Should I be worried?
Not at all! All Gold, Silver and Bronze packages include low-/zero-VOC, low-odour paints. If your chosen package does not, we can upgrade the paint for an extra cost. Our commitment to safe, eco-friendly materials ensures a comfortable experience during our painting services in Brisbane.
What are your working hours?
Our standard day is 6:30 am – 3:30 pm, with site access required until 5:30 pm to allow for drying and prep time. If this schedule doesn’t suit—shift work, illness, tenants, etc.—let us know. We’ll document any amended hours in your written quote so our planning and finish date align with your needs.
I have some large furniture. Can you help me move it?
Our quote does not include moving furniture, but we may assist on a case-by-case basis. Pianos, pool tables, antiques and the like may require specialists. If we do agree to help, we cannot accept responsibility for damage. We recommend clearing the area in advance for optimal results.
I own some valuable and fragile items. Will you be careful?
We treat every possession with respect, yet accidents can happen. Therefore, we require that all fragile, valuable items are removed by you to a safe, secure location away from the work area. Safety is paramount during our Brisbane painting projects.
How long will the painting take?
Most jobs finish within one week, but your deadline is what matters. Tell us your required completion date—carpet install, electrical work, tenant move-in, etc.—and we’ll schedule the necessary crew to meet it. Timely completion without compromising quality is our promise.
Can other trades be on site while the painting is in progress?
Generally no. We move in and out of rooms multiple times, adjusting for drying, prep and weather. For tight timelines we can extend hours or increase staff, but clear planning is essential. We coordinate smoothly for Brisbane projects to avoid disruptions.
Another tradesperson has damaged the paint, can you fix it?
Yes. Even minor scuffs can affect a premium finish. Notify us immediately and we’ll assess and repair the damage under our strong warranty, ensuring your Brisbane painting project remains flawless.
